Red Roses Twist

Since my photo challenge for this week entailed flowers, I decided to play around with my roses as much as I could before they died. And this weather as given me plenty of free time! I was able to get a mini tutorial from here.

I am now learning about textures, in a self taught kind of way. So, I implemented a few PSE textures:
This was taken with a mirror under the rose- I'm still working on this concept...when it clears up enough for me to go to the store, I plan to buy another small bouquet and try it again.

This was taken against my black background, the lamp on my office desk and my lightscoop.

This last pic is the same as the one above, but I added a bokeh texture and PW Soft Fade action.
