Week 13 of Shoot & Edit-Edit!

I noticed something the other day and it surprised me. At the beginning of the year, when I would take a photo of anything, my first thought was, "What can I do to improve this in PS or Lightroom?" I was looking some of those photos and thought, "Hmmm, I could have adjusted my aperture and my background would have blurred more." or "I should have upped my ISO and then, it wouldn't be so dark...". Then, it hit me that through reading, and studying but mainly through these challenges/prompts/themes and by reading through your blogs, especially Jill and Ashley's tutorials, something clicked and has helped me to understand my camera and photography! To me, that is so exciting!!! So, again, I tell you and them thank you!

Very nice! I am glad you feel like you are getting it--I think you are from what I can see of your photos! I am still waiting for my aha moment.

Really a lovely capture of a bridal throw!

A very nice photo SOOC and with the edits. I think my favorite is the first edit.

Right now I still feel bogged down in the swamp of "things I still need to learn". LOL Hoping for that freeing "I think I've got it" moment soon.
