This week's prompt/theme is "Yellow"
I have gotten an attachment to flowers in my house in the last few months. I included the in my house because in the spring and summer, I always plant annuals around the outside of my house and have plants IN the house. My aunt, my mom's oldest sister, had a green thumb and a gift for landscaping and yard care. We lost her this past September to breast cancer and then, to our surprise, we lost her daughter exactly 90 days later. They were so much more to me than a aunt and cousin- with it being winter/spring, I think having flowers in the house right way keeps me connected to them in a way. I don't know, but they have really been a comfort.
Okay- back to yellow. This week, I picked up some yellow flowers and started snapping away with different backgrounds- one you may be surprised at what I used for a background, but it worked! I'll share the day of the edit.
Here are my SOOC:
These two were taken with my "secret" background- can you guess what it is? Also, I used my lightscoop.
1/160, f/4.0, ISO 800
1/160, f/4.0, ISO 800
The rest of these were taken near my kitchen door on a sunny day.
1/8000, F/1.8 ISO 200
1/320 f/1.0 ISO 1600
1/250 F/8.0 ISO 100
1/2000 F/2.8 ISO 100
This one is something of an experiment to see if it would work- and it did! I'll share on Thursday once I get the kinks worked out

Missy these are gorgous sooc's. My favourite is your refraction one and I'll be interested to see how you did it and compare it to the technique I do.
