The Edit!

Wow, not only did I edit a pic, but now, I have posted on here two days in a row! Yay!
I was extremely surprised at the color that came out in the leaves! I didn't realize it was there. I was really concentrating on the snow and then once I saw the color, I went after it. Anyway, here's my edit- to see the pic better, click on it:

What I did- all done in PSE:
* Obvious first thing- I rotated and cropped
* Color corrected by white balance
* Lightened with PW Slight Light
* Boosted color with PW Fresh Color
* Spot lightened the leaves to bring out the color of the leaves a little more
* Ran PW Slight Light action again
* Ran MCP Action to Top and Bottom

Now, to work on next week's!

Great editing! I love Pioneer Woman's actions -they rock! You taught me something - I did not know you could adjust white balance in PSE. Thank you!

wow. what an amazing transformation. aside from the fact that i have to remember that you rotated the image, it hardly looks like the same photo. i love how the colors jump out at me now.
