Here are my edits for this week. I, too, have fallen in love with Lightroom3! I love the simplicity of getting rid of noise and lightening my photos. I was blessed to have photographed 3 weddings in the last month and a half will be a second shooter this Saturday for another one. All three weddings were in very different lighting conditions the second one was a little tricky due to the lighting in the church being totally dependent on the sun shining through the windows. I could tell in my SOOC shots when the sun came out and when the clouds covered it. While editing and doing white balance and adjusting the lighting is when my real appreciation of Lightroom came through- I was able to edit more than one photo at a time. Whew! What a time saver!
Anyway, here are my edits for this week:
This edit was done mainly in Lightroom- black & white photos can be a killer for those with darker skin tones, but they can be done in a flattering way. For some strange reason, Picasa does an excellent job at converting the darker skin tones in black and white photos. After that, I transfered my photo into light room, reduced the noise and lightened my daughter's face just a little
This next one was done in PSE7 with PW Fresh and Colorful Action:
This last one was also done in PSE 7- Lightened the photo, white balance, PW Soft and Faded and applied a texture from Coffee Shop Texture Pack 4
Here's one more that I love of her : )

I don't always think that textures work with portraits but I am really loving that last edit. It looks beautiful.
Great edits. I agree the texture works and I love it!
I think that B&W photo is so gorgeous! (It probably helps to have such a beautiful model ;) ) Great job with all your edits!
